Week Fourteen - January 17-21

Monday-Friday- Over the weekend, Jim and I went to pick out the flooring for the room- it turned out to be so easy. Scott Parker at Prosource, the contractors' wholesale floorcovering place, found us a wonderful bamboo floor that closely matches in color and style the oak floor in the rest of the house - and it is at less cost than the budget- probably the ONLY time this will happen! We found it in about 5 minutes- how amazing. He's also the guy who found our subway and hexagonal tile-a good person!

Meanwhile, Jim has become frustrated about the continuing dilemma of the water under the house- the forever fan under the floor trying to dry it, and whether we will be able to fix this with a french drain- soon. We spent time trimming down a bunch of the Cassia tree/bush in front because the drain will run through there- the poor sparrows are going to be very sad.

Tuesday-We have paint samples on the wall- liveable green and friendly yellow!
Wednesday-Tile is getting more and more finished and there's a sink in the vanity
Thursday & Friday-Baseboards almost done
